BDS Somerset was worth the long drive as Kat qualified for the Junior Whip Osbourne Qualifier and in the excitement I forgot to take any pictures. She was also 5th in the Lady Whip class and gave a good accounting of herself.
Stockwood Park provided Kat with a good win in the Excercise Vehicle Class but she cant take the Osbourne qualifier because she is too Young.

3rd in both Junior Whip to Lucy Smith and Alice Pritchard and 3rd in Style and Performance after Cappela spooked at a balloon, that was obviously out to get her!!

15th May 05 Kats first driving show at South Downs Harness Club members show on Hayling Island. She really enjoyed her day and it was all new to all of us except Cappela who took it all in her stride apart from being spooked by a driven mule. Kat had an unbelievably successful first show, 1st and a trophy in the Best Turned Out, 3rd in the Novice and 1st and the overall cup for Exercise Vehicles and the best Junior Whip. In the afternnon she had a go at cones and completed the handy pony class which was like a small marathon course with 7 obstacles to be 6th. Pictures below
17th April 05 Took Cappela to Mintas for Kats lesson today. Pictures from today. left Kat driving Cappela and right driving Oldmere Jester aka JJ

16th April 05 With Kats interest in driving and the arrival of her new pony Cappela who isn't registered Welsh although she is believed to be a Welsh X we needed a new page for the driving exploits so here it is.

Cappela is a very experienced HDT pony and was previously owned by Jenny Mackenzie in Lancashire. With Jenny she was placed 3rd in the Novice Pony class at Windsor HDT. Kat will hopefully do some IHDT with her next winter. Pictures below with Jenny.
