Promise was purchased as a yearling and bred some lovely foals under the Clements prefix. Two by Ovington Xanadu – the first Clements Paper Tiger was shown lightly winning the gelding class at Northleach and being Res Champion Gelding. Her first filly by Eppynt Superstar was Clements Popstar who as a yearling won Northleach, New Forest and Hampshire County show amongst others. I sold her on the dispersal of Clements stud but bought her back to cover with Dragon in 2002 when she came back on the market. Covered
in 2003 by Runshaw ap Sior but not in foal so Kat is now doing some child handler classes and some shows with her.
Promise had a little outing on 29th June, the first in many years to the SCWPCA Medal Show where she won the barren mare class. Pictured above. 2004 only being shown to act as a schoolmistress for Kat to learn the art of in-hand showing
